Life is tough for Leena as she is the only earning member of a middle-class household wherein the mother is a housewife, father is handicapped and her sister, Surekha, suffers from Schizophrenia. Our story springs from this historical palace whose ghastly memories make people shiver with fear even now. After Rai Saheb's sudden demise the rumour got currency that his restless spirit still hovered about the palace. Though nobody had any proof in support of this, but subsequent incidents gave substance to it. Just two days after his death, as his maid servant was bringing his only Son SUDHIR to Champa Nagar by train the child disappeared on the way. Hardly could the shock of this news subside, when one stormy night his nephew Jugal and sister's son Shekhar came together to "MOTI MAHAL" to hear the WILL from Vakil. But Lo! the Vakil himself vanished and his dead body was picked up in the palace-compound, sometime later.

Neelam is an independent young woman, who is skilled with self-defense, and lives with her guardian, who is also the trustee of Lord Krishna Temple. Although her guardian, with his secretary Julie's help has put forward a number of proposals from suitable young men, Neelam is attracted to a young man named Heeralal P. Srivastav, who runs his own business. Little does Neelam know that Heeralal is not who he claims to be, but is in fact, a burglar named Heera who is after the crown of Lord Krishna, and is just feigning romance with Neelam so that he can get close to her and find out how to steal the crown, give it to his boss, Pratap Singh, who in turn, will sell it to Sheikh Bin Sheikh. The only problem facing Heera is his arch-rival, Moti, who will never let Heera steal the crown. The two must face each other, before they attempt to steal the crown. Watch as events unfold and who, in fact, will manage to steal the crown.

A themed variety show, in which the skits and music centered around Sha Na Na (a '50s-style "greaser" rock band) and the neighborhood in which they lived (an unidentified inner city neighborhood reminiscent of the Bronx).
